Coming to the end of the race

 as I was always rushing wanting her better bigger brighter 

i didn't use a fax machines or have a cell phones or computer 

I wrote everything out long hand "cursive"  

called New York at the crack of dawn to place orders

i was so impatient ......and then she would say.  paulanna piano piano it will happen

it will happen and then it did 

and now at 35 years of hurrying up i am slowly slowing my pace

i found patience and perseverance in small doses
